The International Conference on Agriculture and Food was organized by Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, Science & Education Foundation, Bulgaria Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Serbia, Kavala Institute of Technology, Greece.
Participants from more than thirty countries attended the conference, with four from Nigeria representing SSA. Many interesting research results from Russia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Turkey etc were presented, giving us from SSA a glimpse of research interests from those countries. The organizers showed interest in collaborating with organizations in Africa and Asia (India) to host one of their future conferences in Africa (Nigeria and Ghana).
